I’m an award-winning travel and lifestyle writer, editor and photographer based in Toronto, Canada (by way of Thunder Bay by way of Germany) with a journalism degree from Ryerson University, where I also studied photography.
My work has been featured in consumer and trade publications, including Canadian Family, Post City Magazines, The Toronto Star and OHS Canada. My story, You’ll Never Be Blue in Colourful Curaçao, was awarded “Best Feature Article in a Canada-based Trade Publication” by the Caribbean Tourism Organization Media Awards in 2017.
Some of my most memorable travel experiences include visiting with mountain gorillas in Rwanda, trekking Machu Picchu and taking in the FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
I cover the travel industry – sometimes in international destinations – for Canadian Travel Press and Travel Courier magazines at Baxter Media, and am available for freelance work.
